Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Supperlist you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

2. The service

Supperlist lets independent supper-club hosts publish a public page, list dinner events, and sell tickets to in-person meals. We are a software platform — we are not the host, the chef, or the seller of the meal itself.

3. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create a host account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account.

4. Host responsibilities

  • You are solely responsible for the dinners you host: food safety, allergens, licensing, insurance, and any local permits.
  • You must accurately describe each event, ticket price, capacity, date, time, and location.
  • You are responsible for honoring tickets sold and for issuing refunds if you cancel.
  • You must comply with all applicable laws, including tax law on revenue collected.

5. Payments and fees

Tickets are processed through Stripe Connect. Hosts receive payouts directly from Stripe. Supperlist retains a small platform fee on each successful ticket sale, displayed at the time of checkout. You authorize us to collect this fee from each transaction.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Refunds are issued by the host. Supperlist does not provide refunds for the meal itself. If a host cancels an event, they must refund all sold tickets via Stripe.

7. Acceptable use

  • No illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive activity.
  • No unsolicited bulk messaging via the notify list feature.
  • No content that infringes intellectual property, harasses, or endangers others.
  • No attempt to bypass platform fees, security, or rate limits.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose risk to guests, hosts, or the platform.

9. Disclaimers

Supperlist is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of any meal hosted through the platform.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Supperlist's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the platform fees we collected from you in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Supperlist after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
